SOPHISTICATED SUNNING SEMINYAK, BALI
Seminyak is known for amazing sunsets and we were wowed by the various colors and stunning views each evening.
Seminyak is also the glitzy area in Bali where people come to enjoy beach clubs while sipping craft cocktails and watching the waves crash along the coast and the sun setting each evening. Potato Head was one of the fun clubs we visited. Sadly, we didn’t find any of the toys here.
Instead we found fun and lively entertainment and lots of Australians always ready to party.
When not clubbing, we admired the stunningly beautiful floating temples and gardens at Bedugul Temple.
One year to the day of Stacy’s waterfall hike in 2023, which resulted in a broken shoulder, we braved a hike to 5 stunning waterfalls in Bali. This time we tackled nearly 800 steep stairs, two motor bike rides, and trekking through some rivers to view these stunning waterfalls. Along the way we celebrated the one year anniversary of waterfall hiking without injury. Cheers!!
Terry always takes the time to relate to the locals and learn more about their culture and traditions.
Stacy wanted to take home even more beautiful art and the stunning orchids that are prolific in Bali, but unfortunately, we had no more room in our luggage.
Our final night sunset was picture perfect and made us consider staying longer.
Our 1.5 day journey home was a series of 3 flights and of course champagne to toast the end of a memorable journey. Our long delayed Asia adventure where we played with the elephants, marveled at beautiful sunsets and waterfalls and enjoyed wonderful food and drink has been fulfilled and our hearts are full.
