A romantic castle in Tuscany for our 36th wedding anniversary

What a memorable venue for our 36th wedding anniversary week in Montalcino.

It is hard to know where to focus your gaze within the stunning Val d’Orcia in Tuscany.

We found time to sample Brunello a world class wine produced only in Montalcino with 100% Sangiovese grapes. Montalcino has nearly 300 producers—the only question was where to spend a lovely day drinking wine.

The sunsets in Montalcino were spectacular and changed minute by minute, to close out each day with a reminder of the majesty of nature.

Our location offered excellent star gazing and Terry captured this amazing picture of the Strawberry moon from outside our room.

Celebrating 36 years of wonderful memories and the blessings of our lives.

To give you a sense of our location, the castle rests at the top of a hill overlooking the valley and providing 360 views that are worth recalling for a lifetime.

This basilica in Siena is so majestic and grandiose with stunning frescos that are a treat for the senses.

From any angle, the Basilica defies description and is simply an architectural feast for the eyes.
